Your mind can make a mountain out of a mole hill, a roadblock out of the speedbump, and a stop sign where there is only a caution sign.
Your mind can make a little thing seem like big deal and this can leave you feeling overwhelmed and unhappy.
However, this is just habitual thinking.
If you begin to remember the things you’ve accomplished in the past, the things in the future don’t seem so daunting.
Learn how to re-frame your thinking so that tasks which once frightened you become easy to accomplish.

I spent the first third of my professional life working in radio as an announcer, salesperson, and station manager.
Radio is what is known as a “frequency“ medium.
The purpose of radio is not to reach a lot of people at one time but rather to reach a smaller group of people over and over until they feel compelled to try out the product being advertised.
Study after study has shown that people need to be informed of something several times before they will try it.
And yet, most of us ask for something only once and then we become upset when we don’t receive it.
Bosses, friends, family and the universe itself respond to persistent asking.
This does NOT mean to be a pest.
Nagging isn’t asking.
It means to simply remind someone with frequency of what you are interested in.
I saw this demonstrated in an amazing way at a church in Tanzania.
You’re not going to believe what these people do in this church!
Check it out.

If you study metaphysics, you know that whenever you create something you simultaneously create its opposite.
Nothing could be more evidence of this than when you try to make a positive change in your lives.
As soon as you decide to go on a diet, you get invited to a party with lots of awesome food.
As soon as you decide to stop complaining, new obstacles spring up.
This is neither unexpected nor problematic.
It is actually part of the process!
To change, you have to face the obstacle and rise above it.
Learn to embrace and surpass your obstacles in this video.

If you realized how powerful you are, you would cease to worry.
Most worry is over what “might“ happen in the future.
The thing is, we failed to take into account what happened in our past!
Many of us have survived and even thrived during some very difficult situations.
When we review our life’s resume we discover that we are incredibly capable and worry disappears.

What’s bothering you right now?
Is there something on your mind that’s eating at you?
It’s normal to experience challenging people and situations but if you’ve got several issues it’s probably something for you to look at in yourself.
The difficult but vital question to ask is, “ Is it life? Or, is it me.”
Often, our greatest problem is our own thoughts and by changing our thoughts we can lessen or eliminate many of our problems.

Sometimes experiences happen in our lives that caused us to lose perspective.
During moments of fear, stress, or anxiety our brains will actually shut down and we aren’t able to think clearly.
On a recent scuba diving trip I experienced one of those moments.
I injured myself while diving and I thought that I was in serious trouble.
It turns out, that I had just forgotten something from high school science class. And, when I remembered, everything was OK.
Sometimes the most difficult thing for us to do when we’re worried or upset is to relax.
However, when we are relaxed we are better able to shift perspective and see things more clearly.

It is more likely for an opportunity to show up as a problem than it is for a problem to show up as something exciting.
We are surrounded by opportunities and our soul pushes us to harvesting them by creating problems for us to address.
It is in the addressing of the problems that we discover not only our strength but great opportunities.
The greatest opportunity we have is to improve our relationships.
And the most important relationship we can have is with our mother.
No one‘s mother is perfect.
And everyone’s mother did the very best she could with the resources she had.
Therefore, how could we not celebrate ALL moms today on Mother’s Day!

Many people believe that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day.
But, I once knew a guy who thought Friday the 13th was the luckiest day of the year.
And the interesting thing was, Friday the 13th always WAS the luckiest day for him.
What he could not see is that he was making his own luck on that day.
And that he could make the same luck any day of the year by following this same principles.
In this video I share his story and what we can learn from it to create a happier, luckier life for yourself every day!

People write to make notes, to learn things, and to journal their feelings and emotions.
Because writing involves our hand, we get a physical sensation of what we’re putting down on paper
Purposeful writing is a powerful spiritual exercise that will bring you clarity, direction, and even peace of mind.
